The tenor Jonathan Tetelman.

The winner of the two tickets will be able to enjoy a delicious lyrical evening in the Carmen Church by the American tenor Jonathan Telelman, a young promise who has been praised for his agile technique, his dramatic eloquence, and an extensive palette of vocal colors that make him one of the most sought-after lyrical leading men today. Born in Castro (Chile), Tetelman grew up in New Jersey (USA) and graduated –as a baritone– from the Manhattan School of Music at 22, a training he continued at the Mannes College in New York. Recently, he signed an exclusive multi-album agreement with the Deutsche Grammophon record label and has released ARIAS, his critically acclaimed debut album recorded with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic under the baton of Karel Mark Chichon.

In his debut at the Peralada Festival, he will offer a recital of arias and songs with Daniel Heide on piano, with pieces by Franz Liszt, Giuseppe Verdi, Paolo Tosti, Carlos Gardel, Agustín Lara, and Pablo Sorozábal.

The concert will begin at 8 PM on the first Thursday of August, but, before that, the contest winners will be able to enjoy two guided tours of two of the Peralada resort's jewels: the Peralada Castle museum and the new Perelada wines winery, designed by the award-winning Catalan architecture studio RCR.

Located in an emblematic 14th-century building, the museum houses a spectacular library with more than 100,000 volumes, as well as a collection of ceramics and glass, considered one of the most important in the world. The tour also allows visitors to see the Carmen Church and the Gothic cloister, as well as the Hispano-Suiza room, which showcases the beginnings of this automotive company founded in 1904 by Damià Mateu, great-grandfather of the current owners of the complex.

No less interesting is the visit to the spectacular new Perelada winery, which leads production in the DO Empordà. With a production capacity of 2.5 million bottles, these facilities have become one of the main tourist attractions in the area and stand out for being fully integrated into the landscape, as well as being a benchmark in sustainability.

Finally, after enjoying Jonathan Telelman's concert, the winners will be able to complete the evening with a dinner at the Shiro restaurant, located in the gardens of Peralada Castle and run by the prestigious chef Paco Pérez. The establishment is a tribute to Asia, a continent for which Pérez has a weakness, with a proposal of Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean or Thai dishes that merge with Mediterranean ingredients.

You can participate in the contest until July 27 and the winner's name will be announced on Friday, July 28.
