The Netherlands is the country in the world where the highest percentage of readers (82%) considers the news published by the media to be reliable. This is indicated by a study conducted by the Pew Research Center of the United States in 38 countries.

The average number of citizens who think that their country's media do a good journalistic job, which they can trust, is 62%.

The second country in the ranking is India (80%), followed by Canada (78%) and Germany (75%).

In the United States the percentage is considerably lower, at 56%, and the situation is even worse in Spain, where only 48% of the population, according to this study, believes that the media cover information accurately.
