The modernist complex of Sant Pau is lit up again this Christmas after the success of the first edition of Els Llums de Sant Pau, with more than 210,000 visitors. The Christmas experience transforms the space for the second time with more than 20 luminous and immersive artistic installations.
According to the organizers, this year's route is "totally new" compared to last year's. There are projections on the facades, stars, luminous planets, interactive installations, music and other immersive sound effects, using LED lights in all installations. One of the main novelties this year is a planetarium that allows attendees to walk among large luminous celestial bodies.
The immersive experience in Sant Pau can be seen from this Tuesday, November 22, until Sunday, January 15, excluding December 24 and 31 and January 5. Visits can be made between 6 PM and 9:30 PM, when the last session begins. The complex closes at 11:00 PM.
Tickets for Els llums de Sant Pau vary in price depending on the day of the week and range between 12 and 14 euros for adults and between 10 and 12 euros for those under 18, over 65, students and people with functional diversity. There are also discounts if you buy packs of four tickets or with groups of 10 people or more. Children under three years old do not have to pay.
This activity, ideal for families and groups of friends, is organized by the Barcelona-based company Proactiv Entertainment and the German companies DEAG Deutsche Entertainment and Handwerker Promotion. DEAG Deutsche Entertainment first launched it in 2016 in Berlin. Since then, it has been replicated in cities such as Madrid, Valencia, Malaga, Paris, London, Newcastle, Nottingham, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Cologne. Next year it will arrive in Rome.
