The Keith Haring mural against AIDS

Barcelona has a great hidden treasure: works of art located in its streets. They are pieces by great international artists, but many times we pass by without realizing their existence. To better understand our urban art, The New Barcelona Post is launching a series of video capsules that will take us on a tour of the entire city with journalist Cristina Sala. Every Friday we will offer a chapter. The first one is dedicated to the mural that artist Keith Haring painted in Salvador Seguí square 25 years ago, before dying as a consequence of HIV.

"I don't believe art is propaganda; it should be something that liberates the soul, provokes the imagination and encourages people to go further. It celebrates humanity instead of manipulating it," Keith Haring
