With a strong wind last December, the bougainvillea that has decorated the corner of Rambla Catalunya with Còrsega for decades lost strength. That was the origin of the disagreement between its owner, florist Maria Ponsà, and the Barcelona City Council. Faced with the plant's loss of height, the council asked to prune it to preserve the safety of passers-by. The months are passing and the beautiful plant has been saved from pruning for the moment, but it is still necessary to find a way to preserve it without contravening any regulations.
