Large yachts, latest-generation sailboats, and one of Europe's largest catamaran exhibitions will once again be the protagonists of the Salón Náutico. But beyond the lengths and sails, the 63rd edition of the event, which will be held from October 14 to 18 in Port Vell, aims to open a new perspective on the sea and go beyond the docks: towards water sports, diving, gastronomy, and all the experiences that proliferate around navigation.

This new perspective does not mean leaving behind the essence of the show. The event will continue to be one of the industry's major meeting points, with the presence of leading national and international brands and shipyards. Five months before its celebration, the event already has 70% of its exhibition space occupied and boasts more than 130 confirmed firms.

The organization expects to exceed 200 exhibitors and gather a wide selection of boats, from small and medium-sized models to large yachts over 16 meters. Among the confirmed firms, the Beneteau Group stands out, one of the world's leading builders of leisure boats, which will participate with brands such as Beneteau, Jeanneau, Lagoon, and Excess, in an edition where sailing and catamarans will gain weight, due to their growing importance also within the sector.

An edition conceived beyond boats

However, the great novelty of this edition will not only be moored at the docks, but in everything that will happen around it. Under the motto SeaMotion, the Salón Náutico wants to transform the visit into a more complete experience, where the public can understand that nautical is much more than a boat.

The Moll de la Fusta will host Experience Water, a new area for on-water demonstrations where products and accessories linked to navigation can be seen live. Two thematic areas will also debut in a new covered pavilion: Marines & Harbour Facilities, dedicated to the crucial role of marinas, and Diving, Shopping & Water Sports, focused on diving, water sports, and the nautical lifestyle.

"In 2026, we are committed to expanding the offer to improve the experience for both exhibitors and visitors, whether they are professionals or simply nautical enthusiasts," defends Josep Antoni Llopart, the event's director. The Marina Port Vell Village is also a reflection of this commitment to a more complete and quality offer. The space will once again combine high gastronomy —which last year was signed by chef Rafa Zafra—, networking and nautical atmosphere, with a proposal designed to make the visit go beyond the boats.

But sport and water activities will not be the only ways through which the show wants to open up to new audiences. The event also seeks to bring nautical activities closer to the city and connect with new profiles through initiatives such as the collaboration with the music festival Blaumarí Music, to which the Salón Náutico has ceded the floating infrastructure that acts as a large stage in the middle of the sea. In addition, visitors who purchase their ticket for the show these days will be able to access discounted tickets for the festival, which brings together artists such as Xoel López, Sau or Rufus Wainwright.

In this same vein is the NavegaYA campaign, promoted by the Salón Náutico to bring nautical practice closer to new enthusiasts. The initiative will allow those qualified as Recreational Boat Skipper (PER) between 2025 and 2026 to access the event free of charge and discover the offer of boats.

This change of perspective comes at a time when the industry is also regaining momentum. The Salón Náutico, as a major meeting point for the industry, functions as a thermometer of the sector's current situation: a space where trends, new demands and the pace of maritime activity are detected. And, according to data from the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), forecasts are positive: during the first five months of 2026, 2,228 boat registrations have been recorded in Spain, 10.6% more than in the same period of the previous year.
