The day January 6 is one of the most magical of the year. Illusion floods homes, especially when there are children to dazzle with that special magic that arrives from the distant East riding on camels. But also, more and more families are choosing to continue the gastronomic feast without having to spend hours cooking. The option of celebrating the Three Kings' Day meal in a restaurant is the best.

And among Barcelona's great culinary offerings, the city's hotels offer fantastic gastronomic proposals to celebrate Three Kings' Day and discover who gets the bean and the king of the Roscón. Here we have selected six of these proposals, in six hotel restaurants in Barcelona to finish celebrating these Christmas dates in the best way.

The One Barcelona 5*GL, for an elegant and dreamlike Three Kings' meal

At The One Barcelona restaurant, the Roscón de Reyes will not be missing.

For those looking for a relaxed, elegant and cozy atmosphere, The One Barcelona is the perfect place. It is one of the newest hotels in Barcelona, and stands out for its sophisticated interior design. An ambiance that is also enjoyed in its restaurant Somni, where chef Miguel Muñoz has devised for this occasion, a proposal based on local products and faithful to our traditions.

It is an accessible gastronomic luxury for everyone. A menu based on sprout salad with grilled scallops and Iberian ham shavings, followed by a delicious hake, prawn and clam fisherman's suquet, and suckling pig cooked at low temperature with apple textures. The culmination, as it could not be otherwise, is the Roscón de Reyes, in addition to some nougats and Christmas sweets. All of this, harmonized by white wines Hermanos Lurton (DO Rueda), and Finca Espolla (DO Empordà). A menu whose price is €72, with drinks and coffees included.

As a main course, they propose choosing between Free-range chicken with meadow vegetables and teriyaki sauce; Pork secret with tarragon sauce and trinxat with crust; Vegan crispy gyozas with sweet chili sauce; or Fresh hake and creamy roasted sweet potato. And to finish, Fresh fruit salad with sorbet; Walnut brownie with hot chocolate and vanilla ice cream; Homemade cheese flan with caramel and pistachio cream or the cakes of the day. Although, you'll have to leave some room for coffee with a good slice of Roscón de Reyes and cava. All of this (with wines and drinks), for 39 euros per person.

Gran Hotel Havana 4*S, to enjoy the Roscón

Luxury dining at the Gran Hotel Havana in Barcelona.

Christmas at the Gran Hotel Havana in Barcelona begins and ends well, very well. For the last Christmas meal, this four-star superior hotel suggests a very special menu. The goal is "to take a good bite" of the Roscón de Reyes after a feast with traditional Catalan dishes, such as the creamy veal fricandó with seasonal mushrooms, or with seafood specialties such as grilled sea bream loin with steamed mini vegetables and lime and tamarind velouté.

And it is that, after so many gargantuan meals, the Three Kings' Menu is somewhat lighter, but equally delicious. Because before these two main courses, an appetizer based on confit artichokes and hot ham jelly and an appetizer of Escalivada puff pastry with tuna belly, anchovies and tender shoots and Thai romesco. All of this, as we said, culminated with a Roscón de Reyes and the typical Christmas turrones and neulas. The price of the menu, with wines and coffees, is 48€ per person.
