The jurist Sílvia Martínez Losas assumes the presidency of Parlem at a time of change for the Catalan telecommunications company. Martínez Losas replaces the founder, Ernest Pérez-Mas, who moves to occupy the non-executive vice-presidency, within the framework of the new shareholding configuration and corporate governance of the operator. Inveready, after capitalizing 17.5 million euros of debt, now controls 49% of Parlem's voting rights.

Managing partner and founder of the Lexcrea firm, Martínez Losas has more than fifteen years of experience advising startups and investors. Specialized in corporate operations, mergers and acquisitions, she has also been linked to different governing bodies of companies participated by Inveready. Her appointment places a professional with a career closely linked to the entrepreneurial and venture capital ecosystem at the head of the board.

The handover coincides with a broader remodeling of Parlem's management, which now has a shared general management between Julio Sala and David Ayats. With Pérez-Mas's departure from the presidency, the company begins a new stage marked by the change in the shareholding structure, recapitalization and the challenge of consolidating the growth of an operator that was born in 2014 with the aim of building a Catalan alternative in the telecommunications sector.
