The Canadian artist Abel Tesfaye, known worldwide as The Weeknd, kicks off September in Barcelona after selling out three consecutive nights in Madrid to over 150,000 fans. The singer adds this date at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys as part of his global tour After hours til dawn, produced by Live Nation.
The Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, which he played in July 2023, once again features a gigantic setup. The tour marks the close of his album trilogy: After hours (2020), Dawn FM (2022), and Hurry up tomorrow (2025). The Weeknd will also be joined by American rapper Playboi Carti as a special guest on every date of the tour.
Aitana at the Palau Sant Jordi

Aitana cements her standing as one of pop's biggest success stories with a feat few artists have accomplished: four concerts at the Palau Sant Jordi in a single week. Months after her massive appearance at the Estadi Olímpic before 40,000 people, the singer from Sant Climent de Llobregat returns to the Catalan capital with her Cuarto Azul World Tour.
The tour, which began on March 14, 2026, at the Lollapalooza festival in Argentina, has since played more than 24 cities around the world. On stage, Aitana shows off a more mature, internationally minded side of her artistry since leaving Operación Triunfo. Across the four Barcelona dates, audiences can expect a run through her biggest hits alongside an impressive stage production.
CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso at the Palau Sant Jordi

The Argentinian duo of Catriel Guerreiro (CA7RIEL) and Ulises Guerreiro (Paco Amoroso) lands at Palau Sant Jordi with their FREE SPIRITS WORLD TOUR, bringing their new work to the UK and Europe. The pair's bond dates back to their school days in Buenos Aires, where sharing a surname led teachers to mistake them for brothers. Ever since, the two have been united by their shared devotion to Argentine rock and pop.
After experimenting with rap and various other genres, the duo broke through in 2024 following their appearance on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series. Their sound transitions between urban music, funk, and alternative rock, a fusion that's won them widespread acclaim from fans.
Sigur Rós at the Auditori del Fòrum

The Icelandic band Sigur Rós returns to Barcelona with a symphonic concert. On this occasion, the group will be accompanied on stage by the 41 musicians from the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès to perform compositions from their most recent album, Átta (2023), along with a selection of the greatest hits from their discography.
This concert at the Auditori del Fòrum is one of the last chances to catch the tour the band launched alongside conductor Robert Ames and a roster of top local orchestras, including the London Contemporary Orchestra and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Besides Barcelona, the tour has only one other confirmed Spanish date, set for September 15 at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao.

The Rolling Stones guitarist will play an intimate, up-close concert at Razzmatazz. The youngest member of the legendary British trio (at 78 years old) will perform as part of the Cruïlla Concerts series.
The promoter has announced that Wood will be accompanied on stage by a "very special guest." Although the name has not been officially confirmed, all eyes point to the Irish rock and roll singer Imelda May, who shared the stage with the musician in his previous engagement in London three weeks before this Barcelona date.

Àlex Ubago, one of the most popular singers of the 2000s, now boasts a career spanning more than two decades and millions of records sold on both sides of the Atlantic. This year, he joins the lineup of the Banco Mediolanum Guitar BCN26 festival with a very special concert at the Palau de la Música Catalana.
The singer-songwriter from Álava celebrates the 25th anniversary of ¿Qué pides tú?, the debut album that launched his career in the early 2000s. The concert will feature a full live performance of that landmark record, alongside a run through the biggest hits of his catalogue.

Halfway between minimalist neoclassicism, the melancholy of the violin and cello, and the most discreet electronic touches, his music presents an enveloping landscape that transports the listener to an almost cinematic universe.
La Mercè Concerts 2026
This September, the musical agenda is dominated by La Mercè. Barcelona's main annual festival will host free concerts from a lineup of well-known names in contemporary music, including:
- September 23, 2026: Pol Batlle. The singer-songwriter Pol Batlle will offer an intimate concert at 9:30 p.m. at the Teatre Grec as part of the Festa Major de la Mercè 2026. Admission will be free, although it will be subject to the venue's capacity limit.
- September 25, 2026: Nacho Vegas. A leading figure of Spanish independent singer-songwriter music, Vegas brings his poetic, critically minded repertoire to the Teatre Grec stage at 9:30 p.m.

- September 25, 2026: Els Amics de les Arts. The Catalan trio will run through their best-known songs on the grand stage of Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina at 10:00 p.m., as part of La Mercè's evening program.
- September 25, 2026: Els Catarres. Continuing the party on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina, Els Catarres will take the stage at 11:45 p.m. to perform their well-known festive and danceable Catalan music tracks.
- September 25, 2026: Teràpia de Shock. The pop-rock band Teràpia de Shock closes out Friday's program on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina with a set starting at 1:30 a.m.
- September 26, 2026: La Pegatina. True to their signature mestizo, high-energy style, La Pegatina headline Saturday's DAMM stage on Bogatell beach from 9:30 p.m.

Living legend of European rock and blues Adelmo "Zucchero" Fornaciari takes the stage at the Palau de la Música Catalana as part of his international Under the Moonlight tour — a special evening where the Italian artist's gravelly voice and his fusion of soul, blues, and pop-rock will fill one of the country's finest-sounding venues.
The concert carries an extra note of celebration, marking the 25th anniversary of the release of "Baila (Sexy Thing)," the song that made him a global name in 2001.
