Seidor continues unstoppable in its purpose of becoming one of the great technological consulting firms in the world. Born in Vic more than forty years ago, the company closed 2024 with record revenues, exceeding 1,125 million euros, a figure that represents a growth of 28% compared to its previous fiscal year, when it billed 894 million euros. With these results, the company has not only reached its objectives for this year, when it aimed to exceed the 1,000 million euro barrier for the first time, but has even surpassed them.
The results are the first for the consulting firm since the beginning of its new stage, after the entry of the American fund Carlyle, which has also invested in Catalan companies such as Codorniu, as a majority shareholder in the summer ---with a 60% stake---, an operation that has allowed it to accelerate its international expansion plan. Seidor's strategy for this increase in its revenues has consisted of a combination of its organic growth, with the arrival of new clients ---with the main focus on medium-sized companies---, with strategic integrations of competing companies. Thus, in 2024 it acquired the Italian HT High Technology, the British B1 Solutions and the American Argentis.
With a workforce of more than 10,000 professionals, the company has a presence in 45 countries in Europe, Latin America, the United States, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. However, one of its main markets continues to be Spain, a country where it remains a leader in the implementation of SAP business software, in addition to strengthening itself through alliances with large technology providers, such as Microsoft, IBM, Salesforce, AWS or Google Cloud.
During 2024, Seidor also integrated the Madrid-based Gesein, a consulting firm specialized in the public sector. With this operation, the company strengthens its presence in public administrations, one of the growth levers where it wants to continue strengthening itself. The consulting firm also focuses on strategic markets such as the United States, Italy, Germany ---where it has landed during the 2024 fiscal year--- and the United Kingdom to continue growing.
"The 2024 results confirm the robustness of the model in all markets and allow us to look to the future with ambition, with the necessary capabilities and assets to face new challenges and continue offering high value-added services," highlighted its CEO, Sergi Biosca, who has held the position since September.
After these record results, the company expects to maintain double-digit growth this year and double its turnover within a five-year horizon, exceeding 2,000 million euros in revenue. Likewise, Seidor also expects to double its workforce in the coming years, in addition to incorporating artificial intelligence as a tool that permeates the entire organization. In this regard, the company has been selected to be part of Microsoft's Responsible AI Innovation Center (RAIIC) group.
The company was founded in 1982 by brothers Santiago and Andreu Benito to offer technological solutions to companies. After more than four decades, the family still maintains 40% of the capital, in addition to a prominent role in the company, with Josep Benito, the founders' younger brother, as executive president.
