The personnel selection software SherlockHR, PandaPé, Shermind Partners and DGtalent and the software for the digitalization of human resources management HolmesHR are the IT tools developed by the online employment group Redarbor.

From its headquarters in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Redarbor is expanding its business as a manager of the employment platforms Computrabajo and Infojobs in Latin America by "covering all services of the value chain", explains its founder and CEO, David González.

The development of recruitment and people management software is carried out in Sant Cugat, with a team of 130 programmers who coordinate with the IT areas that the company also has in Colombia and Brazil, among the group's 10 offices distributed between Spain and Latin America. The total workforce is 450 people.

After the recent acquisition of all the capital of Infojobs Brazil, the Catalan group helps 34 million people each month to find a job, generating 176 million visits to its sites. In its databases, it has 94 million registered candidates and more than 100,000 companies with active offers, of which about 2,000 have already incorporated Redarbor's software.

With its employment sites and apps and recruitment, management and people selection software, Redarbor has experienced a strong increase in its business during 2021, reaching a total turnover of 30.8 million euros. This figure represents a 40.6% increase compared to the previous year, which stood at 21.9 million euros. For 2022, David González estimates a growth of more than 45%, after the good business pace during the first quarter.

Redarbor, with presence in 21 countries in Latin America, has its headquarters in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

"Human resources management, states González, is increasingly complex and companies need advanced tools", in which Redarbor incorporates, among other innovations, "artificial intelligence that allows us to find the most suitable candidate for each job, taking into account not only their training and experience, but also the new parameters demanded not only by companies, but also by future employees". In short: "The worker will have to be treated as another client of the company", González concludes.

With a long career in the online employment sector, David González speaks about new trends in the labor market with determination.Redarbor is the second business project of David González, formerly co-founder of Anuntis, a business he led until 2012, when he decided to sell it to the currentAdevinta group.

According to González, of the revolution that the labor market is experiencing and how it is affecting companies after the impact of the pandemic on society, "we have only seen the tip of the iceberg." "People are prioritizing their time much more and are looking for a balance between work and personal life and value the proximity of the job, working conditions, schedules and hybrid presence; in addition to a project in which they can feel fulfilled and that takes into account and enhances their social impact," explains González. He warns of the risk of "not investing in talent retention, because companies that do not incorporate it into their business strategy do not have their future guaranteed" and of how soft skills ---complementary skills--- are gaining weight when evaluating the profile of candidates. These conditions occur in any part of developed countries and the 21 Latin American countries in which Redarbor operates are no exception.
