The organization of Barcelona's most massive festival and beyond is changing the location of its offices within the city. Primavera Sound has opened a new space in Torre Diagonal Mar, in 22@ and a few meters from the Fòrum venue, the usual setting for the concerts programmed by the festival, which committed two years ago to remain in the Catalan capital at least until 2027.
The new headquarters, owned by Union Investment, has 2,500 square meters distributed over two floors. Located on Josep Pla street and facing the sea, the building will also house the festival's creative agency, which will move together with the music promoter, which has two decades of experience programming concerts and musical events from its headquarters in the Catalan capital.
Until now, Primavera Sound's offices operated from a building located at number 189 on Avenida Diagonal, owned by RBA Editores, with 2,200 square meters. Thus, the company has gained proximity to the Fòrum and about 300 square meters of space with this operation, advised by Cushman & Wakefield.
Torre Diagonal Mar has recognized sustainability certificates and is connected to the Districlima urban cold and heat distribution network. In this way, according to Cushman & Wakefield associate Imma Santacana, this operation "demonstrates that buildings that are not newly built, but that have invested in significant improvements and reforms in their spaces, and especially in terms of sustainability, are equally a good option to attract talent and large companies," as an example of the relevance of updating office buildings available in the city.
