Perk, the travel and expense management platform powered by artificial intelligence and formerly known as TravelPerk, has closed a private credit facility of 300 million dollars to finance its next phase of international growth. The operation was led by Neuberger Specialty Finance and saw the participation of Blue Owl Capital, Hercules Capital, and Liquidity.
The company plans to allocate the funds to accelerate investment in product, technology, and artificial intelligence, as well as to strengthen its global expansion. Among the next milestones is the launch in the United States of its expense management solution, one of the strategic markets for the company.
The operation comes at a particularly relevant time for the company, which in recent months has accelerated its evolution from a platform focused on corporate travel to a comprehensive solution for managing expenses, events, and administrative processes. A change that has also been accompanied by a new corporate identity and a determined commitment to artificial intelligence as a central element of its value proposition.
The news comes after a year of strong growth for Perk. During 2025, the platform exceeded 300 million dollars in annualized revenue and registered a growth of 48%, consolidating itself as one of the fastest-growing companies in the corporate travel and expense management sector. According to the company, the new financing replaces and expands the credit line obtained in 2024, in addition to improving its conditions and strengthening a financial structure that it considers key to facing the next stage of development.
Founded in Barcelona in 2015, Perk has in recent years committed to integrating artificial intelligence across its entire platform. In November 2025, the company launched a unified solution that integrates travel, expenses, and events into a single digital experience. The company's CFO, Roy Hefer, highlights that the application of AI has significantly improved business efficiency and increased the company's gross margins. "AI is a great boost for Perk," he states, emphasizing that the technology will allow the organization to scale more quickly and efficiently in the coming years.
The operation also reflects investors' confidence in the company's evolution. Laura Johnson, managing director of Neuberger Specialty Finance, believes that Perk is in a favorable position to take advantage of opportunities in a transforming market thanks to the combination of growth, profitability, and technological capabilities.

This commitment responds to an increasingly visible trend within the technology sector: the integration of artificial intelligence into business tools capable of automating administrative and operational tasks. In Perk's case, the goal is to reduce what the company defines as "hidden work," that is, all those low-value-added tasks that consume time within organizations and often go unnoticed.
From TravelPerk to a global platform
The company has evolved in recent years from a platform specialized in corporate travel to a broader solution focused on managing expenses and administrative processes linked to business activity.
Currently, more than 10,000 companies use its services worldwide. Its clients include companies such as On Running, Breitling, and Fabletics. According to the company itself, its technology seeks to reduce time-consuming administrative tasks within organizations by automating processes such as travel bookings, expense management, and event organization.

The growth of Perk also reinforces Barcelona's positioning as one of the main technological hubs in Southern Europe. Founded in the city in 2015, the company has become one of the most prominent success stories of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, along with other technology companies that have managed to scale internationally from the Catalan capital in recent years. The operation has coincided with another announcement from the local ecosystem of global scale: the Barcelona unicorn Factorial has closed a 150 million dollar round.
With this new injection of funding, Perk faces a new stage marked by international expansion, the deployment of new AI-based functionalities, and entry into new markets. One more step in the evolution of a company born in Barcelona that aspires to consolidate itself as one of the great global leaders in intelligent business travel and expense management.
