In a moment of consolidation and movements in the telco market, Parlem prepares to lead eventual corporate operations. To this end, its board of directors has approved the issuance of a new convertible bond for two million euros, led by Inveready, which has already backed Parlem on previous occasions.
The operation will be accompanied by the entry of the founding partner of the asset manager, Roger Piqué, to Parlem's board of directors, if ratified by its shareholders' meeting in June. Piqué's incorporation will not be the only one to occur on Parlem's board of directors, which will also include the group's current general director, Xavier Capellades.
The new injection of two million is part of a context in which Parlem recently announced another capital increase of four million, and in which it has approved extending current credit lines by an additional 1.5 million. This has been approved by a board of directors that has also validated the audited results for 2023. During the fiscal year, its telecommunications and business solutions divisions billed 45 million, without taking into account the energy division that Parlem plans to divest.
In addition to increasing this turnover by 36%, the group achieved a positive EBITDA for the first time in 2023, going from losses of 1.9 million in 2022 to a positive profitability of three million last year. After closing 2023 with more than 230,000 contracted services, up 25%, Parlem expects to double last year's results in 2024.
