Mikakus lands in La Roca Village starting this May, setting up a temporary store that will be open until the end of summer. After opening its first establishment in Barcelona at the end of last year ---on Valencia street, corner with Rambla Catalunya---, the sports shoe brand is betting on this pop-up format to continue expanding its sales channels.
In the store, there will be a selection of timeless models, with the presence of the different collections they have designed to date. You will be able to find their Boom, Mikakus Rocket, Stellar, or Infinity sneakers.
The origin of this brand lies in a group of friends from Cabrera de Mar, who decided to create Mikakus in 2018 after traveling the world. Its creators explain that Mikakus is the combination of the modernity of Barcelona, with the elegance of Italy, and the influence of Japanese design trends. "Mikakus is a 360º global brand that wants to express a lifestyle marked by the passion for living and intensely savoring moments and enjoying every minute that life gives us," explains the firm, which manufactures its sneakers in workshops in Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
Mikakus, which has registered significant online success thanks to the pull of various influencers, opened its first physical store in 2019 in the Japanese city of Kobe and has now made the double leap to Barcelona, with openings in Rambla Catalunya and La Roca. Andrés Iniesta and his wife, Anna Ortiz, have been ambassadors for these sneakers, which have a price ranging between 100 and 200 euros.
