The Global Business Services Iberia will be located in MediaMarkt Iberia's central offices and will involve the incorporation of more than 500 professionals. In an initial phase, 40 workers have been hired, and the number will reach 200 during the first half of 2021. The management of this new center will be led by Manuela Mengibar, until now director of the Administration and Finance department of MediaMarkt Iberia, and by Xavier Mas, director of Human Resources of MediaMarkt Iberia.

The new center is part of a new operating model for the company, whose main objective is to establish a new way of working in the organization at an international level. The aim is to move towards a "more agile, operational, and efficient" structure, allowing stores to focus on customer service.
