On Monday, March 4, a new edition of the cycle The New Barcelona – Moments Estel·lars will take place, dedicated to giving visibility to those areas in which the city excels and which are drivers of the Barcelona brand's projection. After focusing attention in recent months on sectors such as health, fashion, industry 4.0, audiovisual, and innovation and internationalization, this time we will approach the work carried out by third sector entities, and we will do so with a very iconic example in the Catalan capital: the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera.

We will be joined by the Minister of Social Rights, Carles Campuzano, and the general director of the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, Marta Lacambra, who will hold a conversation with journalist and UPF-BSM professor Toni Aira. Under the motto Foundations as a model of social transformation, we will explore the essential role of the third sector and foundations, highlighting the case of the foundation that owns the emblematic modernist building on Passeig de Gràcia, a work by Antoni Gaudí. The Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera is a successful model of a private and independent entity that manages an important historical heritage and develops multiple projects that generate a positive impact on society.

With the collaboration of CASA SEAT, Must Media Group and Barcelona Global, the session will take place on Monday, March 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the CASA SEAT auditorium. To attend this event organized by The New Barcelona Post as an audience member, it is essential to reserve a ticket in advance. To get a ticket, completely free of charge, click here.
