1. Van Morrison at the Auditori del Fòrum on July 3
The Auditori del Fòrum will experience a historic night next July 3 with the return to Barcelona of Van Morrison. Known worldwide as the "Lion of Belfast," he arrives in our city within the framework of the Barcelona Jazz Festival, almost ten years after his last visit. The Northern Irish artist, who is already close to 80 years old, will offer a concert where soul, blues, and jazz will merge with one of the most legendary voices in contemporary music.
Despite having masterpieces like Astral Weeks (1968) or Moondance (1970) behind him, Morrison continues to produce music and, for this reason, on this occasion he will take the opportunity to present his new blues album, Somebody tried to sell me a bridge (2026). The concert will be a journey that will review his classic songbook and the new compositions from his latest work. A unique opportunity to reunite with a living legend on one of the stages with the best acoustics in the city.
2. M-Clan at the Barts Festival on July 3
On the same night of July 3, the Poble Espanyol will be filled with the best Spanish rock of recent decades with the return of M-Clan. Carlos Tarque and Ricardo Ruipérez return to the stage to celebrate a very special anniversary: three decades of music, road, and rock and roll.
The Murcian band commemorates this 30th anniversary with a concert tour where they will review their greatest hits. In Barcelona, the group will perform with the full lineup to offer a musical journey that will cover their entire career, from their American rock beginnings in the 90s to their great songs. 3. Sting at Les Nits d'Occident on July 7
The Jardines del Palau de Pedralbes will host on July 7 one of the most influential pop stars of contemporary music: Sting. The British composer and activist, who rose to global fame in 1977 leading the band The Police, arrives at the Les Nits d'Occident festival to review a career with which he has sold over 100 million records and won 17 Grammy awards.
On this occasion, Sting presents his show STING 3.0 World Tour, a trio format accompanied by guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas. This concert features his greatest hits of all time, but also recovers hidden gems from his discography and the presentation of his new single I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart).
4. Els Amics de les Arts + Suu + Ivan Herzog at Clotilde Fest on July 9
On July 9, the Clotilde Fest will close its summer edition hand in hand with Flaixbac with a night that will be a celebration of home-grown music. The lineup for this evening is headlined by one of the most beloved and consolidated groups on the Catalan scene: Els Amics de les Arts. The band will bring their live show, their pop with witty lyrics, and those songs that have already become anthems.
The night will be completed with the fresh and carefree pop of singer-songwriter Suu, who will review her best-known hits, and the emerging talent of Ivan Herzog with a more intimate and sensitive proposal. This triple event is presented as the perfect finale for a festival that champions young and local talent in an unbeatable setting: the gardens of Palau Robert.
5. Les Flors Prohibides within Grec 2026 on July 13
Within the official program of Grec 2026, the gardens of Montjuïc will host the musical proposal of Les Flors Prohibides on July 13. This show is born with the purpose of denouncing the forced disappearance of nature in Palestine due to conflicts and colonization. A group of permanent musicians on stage will be joined by renowned artists from our scene such as Anna Andreu, Clara Peya, Mar Pujol, and Cora Novoa.
The concert invites listeners to hear the lament and memory of trees and stones (such as pines, sycamores, or olive trees uprooted from their land), as well as the loss of traditional Palestinian medicinal and gastronomic plants. In addition, the evening will feature an artistic installation located in the gardens of the Grec theater. A poetic, suggestive, and impactful encounter that unites art, music, and social consciousness.
6. ZAZ at Les Nits d'Occident on July 13
The French singer ZAZ, one of the most well-known voices of contemporary chanson, will stop in Barcelona on July 13. The concert will be held in the Gardens of the Palau de Pedralbes as part of the Les Nits d'Occident series. ZAZ captivated the world in 2010 with her great hit Je veux, and, since then, the artist has created a unique style that fuses pop, traditional French music, and gipsy jazz.
ZAZ arrives to present live her sixth studio album, a work that has a much more intimate character and has already received applause from critics and her followers.
7. Teràpia de Shock at Les Nits d'Occident on July 14
On July 14, the Pedralbes Gardens will experience one of the most emotional comebacks of the year with the Teràpia de Shock concert within the Les Nits d'Occident festival. The legendary Catalan band returns to the stage with an exclusive tour that will last only one year to celebrate its anniversary. For this occasion, the group will offer a completely renovated live show but faithful to its usual rocker essence, where there will be no new songs, but a review of their most emblematic themes such as Cuenta conmigo, 20 minuts d'espera or the iconic Sense tu.
In addition, this tour has a solidarity commitment: all profits obtained will be fully donated to the Albert Bosch Foundation and the Barça Foundation. The ultimate goal is to finance the creation of the Albert Bosch Center for Drug Discovery at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute, a pioneering unit in Europe specializing in the research of new drugs against childhood cancer. It will be a night to get emotional, sing rock in Catalan, and collaborate with a great cause.
8. Lax'n'Busto at Barts Festival on July 15
One of the most anticipated concerts this July in Barcelona will take place on July 15 at the Barts Festival. The historic and original lineup of Lax'n'Busto (Pemi Fortuny, Jimmy Piñol, Pemi Rovirosa, Jesús Rovira, Cristian Gómez Montenegro, and Eduard Font) exceptionally returns to the stage to celebrate their 40 years of career, recalling that first and legendary performance that took place on August 30, 1986.
The night's repertoire is designed as a journey full of nostalgia and emotion, with songs that are already part of the soundtrack of an entire generation. It will be a concert full of magic and reunions with the group that marked a before and after in Catalan rock.
9. ZZ Top at Barts Festival on July 19
The most classic and authentic rock returns to Barcelona on July 19 as part of the Barts Festival. After two years of absence, the Texan band ZZ Top will stop at Poble Espanyol as part of their European tour The Big One! This American trio was formed in late 1969 and, since then, has sold over 60 million albums worldwide.
Billy F. Gibbons himself has expressed his enthusiasm for performing again before the European audience, which he describes as one of the most energetic he has encountered in his more than fifty-year career. The concert will review their discography and the classics from their album Eliminator. A unique opportunity to see in action historical members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame introduced by Keith Richards.
10. Judit Neddermann & GIO Symphonia at Les Nits d'Occident) on July 20
Singer-songwriter Judit Neddermann celebrates her 10 years of musical career with one of her most ambitious shows. On July 20, the artist from Vilassar de Mar will take the stage at Les Nits d'Occident accompanied by her usual band and the GIO Symphonia, under the baton of maestro Joan Albert Amargós. A proposal designed to further enhance the poetic nature that has always marked her work.
Neddermann is one of the most versatile voices in current Catalan music and is capable of moving audiences both in intimate small formats and in large orchestral productions. The concert will be an emotional journey to review a decade dedicated to singing about life and love.
