Executive Jordi Soldevila will assume the direction of Communication and Institutional Relations at CaixaBank, also joining the entity's management committee. The appointment, pending validation by the European Central Bank, culminates a career developed entirely within the group and places him at the head of one of the key areas for the bank's corporate positioning and reputation.
Until now CEO of BuildingCenter and director of Real Estate of Adjudicated Assets, Soldevila has participated in some of CaixaBank's main transformation processes, especially in the areas of corporate development and real estate business. With a degree in Business Administration and Management from IQS and executive training at IESE, he has in-depth knowledge of the organization after having developed his entire professional career there.
Soldevila takes over from María Luisa Martínez Gistau after 25 years at the head of the Communication department. "Communication and Institutional Relations are key levers for the entity's positioning and reputation," highlighted the new executive, who assumes the position with the aim of giving continuity to this work.
