A community that until just a few months ago conducted much of its activity through digital channels is now taking the leap into a large-scale in-person gathering, choosing Barcelona as its setting. From September 21 to 24, Barcelona will host Europe’s first Claude Community House, a gathering centred around Claude, the artificial intelligence model developed by Anthropic and widely used by programmers and software developers. The initiative is part of AI Summit Barcelona and will bring together 15 European Claude ambassadors, members of the Anthropic team and AI professionals in the 22@ district for four days of workshops, hands-on sessions and networking, with around 2,000 attendees expected.

AI Summit Barcelona, taking place on September 22 and 23, is expected to bring together more than 10,000 professionals and over 200 speakers to explore real-world applications of artificial intelligence. “We wanted to create a space where people from different countries could meet, share what they are doing with AI, and work together to turn conversations and challenges into concrete projects,” says Jérémie Benhamou, one of the initiative’s driving forces. This focus on building community also runs through Benhamou’s career. He moved to Barcelona in 2019, co-founded AI Summit Barcelona and, in 2024, founded The Tech Nation, a company focused on helping businesses transform through artificial intelligence.
