How many things can a century-old business project and one that is not even ten years old have in common? One, vice-president of a group that has popularized a teddy bear as an icon of jewels that have gone around the world. The other, the brain behind Laagam, a fashion brand that started when she was studying at university and that she promoted on the back of social networks.

Both, one born in Manresa, the other in Madrid, have had Barcelona as their reference city when projecting their brand to the world. They also have a restless yet collaborative spirit, and therefore believe in the need to create community to make any initiative successful.
They coincide on these fronts, but also on a philosophy of life. An attitude that Rosa Tous inherited from her parents (he, the brain; she, the heart and intuition) and that she shares with her sisters, all of them linked to the family business. Inés Arroyo, for her part, has this harmony with her partner and her brother, also family and partners.
And that attitude, that spirit, has a lot to do, they acknowledge, with the dynamism and style of the Catalan capital. "He who stops loses," they say at Laagam. "He who stops goes backwards," say the Tous. They hadn't discussed it at home but it's a hallmark of the house, of Barcelona, of the country.
