The startup FisioReact, specialized in home physiotherapy services, has just closed its first round of financing, with which it has raised 400,000 euros. Subscribed by private investors, among whom the CEO of Palex, Xavier Carbonell, stands out, the investment received will be used for the company's expansion throughout Spain and to incorporate new specialties in home health care services for individuals and companies.

The company, created three years ago, is present in Barcelona and Madrid and will soon open in the cities of Valencia and Bilbao, and in a second phase it is preparing its entry into the Malaga and Seville markets, according to one of its promoters, Albert Valls.

Likewise, the firm will work on improving the technological functionalities of its own e-Health platform, with the treatment process of its patients one hundred percent digitized. A very useful tool during pandemic times. Thus, at the close of 2021, the startup invoiced 300,000 euros, with more than 6,000 new physiotherapy sessions.

Working for both companies and individuals, FisioReact has about thirty qualified physiotherapists expert in various specialties such as sports, neurological or decontracting physiotherapy. The physiotherapist travels to the patient's home with all the necessary material to carry out the session and advises the client if medical supervision is considered necessary.

Founded in 2018 by brothers Marc Valls and Albert Valls, industrial engineer and physiotherapist, respectively, FisioReact is aimed at individuals, but has also closed agreements with hospital centers that, in the case of Barcelona, are Clínica Corachan and Hospital El Pilar, for which it provides home physiotherapy services for patients; and has a collaborative relationship with Hospital Universitari Dexeus.

The main group of FisioReact users are patients for rehabilitation of traumatological problems derived from surgical interventions and others who suffer from diseases that affect the nervous system such as multiple sclerosis, ALS, Parkinson's, strokes or Alzheimer's. In this last area, the company works for the Qida group of services for the care of the elderly or dependent people and with Fiatc Residencias, among others.

In the business field, the promoters of FisioReact argue that physiotherapy is a key social benefit for the retention and attraction of talent in highly competitive technological hubs in Spain. FisioReact offers its services in offices or in hybrid models and/or completely WFH (Work From Home) models for companies such as Lidl and Boston Consulting Group.
