Goal achieved, and surpassed. eDreams Odigeo has closed the fiscal year corresponding to 2025 with profits amounting to 45 million euros until March, 39% more than the same period of the previous year. And not only that; the company has broken its revenue record and has reached 718 million euros, with a year-on-year increase of 6% and exceeding the 700 million barrier for the first time.

With these figures and historical highs, the travel company has managed to achieve the long-term strategic goals it had set for itself. These objectives also include increasing EBITDA, which has soared by 49% year-on-year, to 180 million, and cash flow, which has risen by 123%, to 100 million. In this way, the online travel agency, which originated in Silicon Valley in 1999 but established its headquarters in Barcelona the following year, continues to grow as one of the main online travel booking operators.

"The records we have achieved in profitability, revenue, and margins constitute undeniable proof: we have designed a more robust, more profitable, and uniquely flexible model," emphasized eDreams Odigeo CEO, Dana Dunne. These increases have occurred in parallel with the increase in the company's subscribers: its prime members grew by 25%. With this increase, eDreams has reached more than 7.2 million subscribers, a fact that exceeds the objectives set by a company that in 2014 became the first Catalan unicorn.

These record figures respond to the development of the strategic plan that the company set for itself at the end of 2021, when it decided to boost the transformation of the company into a subscription business based on its prime model. With this commitment, the company has registered exponential growth: prime members have quadrupled since the decision was made to shift course towards subscriptions, going from 1.9 million to the current 7.2 million in three years.

And, as the company highlights, these have not been easy three years, but rather have been marked by the pandemic, inflation, war, and geopolitical instability. "We have met all our commitments, despite the adverse circumstances that have led most companies in the sector to revise their forecasts downwards," Dunne defended.

The company, which already has more than a quarter century of experience, aims to continue growing. For the next fiscal year, it aspires to maintain a constant increase in prime members, adding an additional million. In addition, it wants to raise EBITDA to over 215 million euros, and for cash flow to continue climbing to 120 million.

Thus, despite the record figures for this fiscal year, the company has great growth potential ahead, as Dunne highlights: "Despite how powerful our subscription model has proven to be, we have barely scratched the surface of its potential; in our current markets there is still significant room for maneuver," which is complemented by opportunities for opening in territories where the company has not yet brought its prime service: "We are ready for our next stage of growth."
