Desigual continues to advance on its path to profitability. The firm led by Thomas Meyer closed 2024 with 3.1 million euros before taxes, in the third consecutive year of organic growth. Despite these profits, the brand's revenue was 332 million euros, 12% less than in 2022, the last year in which it communicated its results, after a silent 2023.

The chain's garments and fashion proposals were well received, especially in the digital and international sales channels. In fact, Desigual's online sales continue to boom, so the company's strategy of the last five years has taken effect: while in 2019 it represented 19% of sales, now online has climbed to 35% of the total.

In addition, organic sales have grown in the company's international markets, which has a presence in 95 countries. Among them, sales in Japan stand out, which have grown by 9%, and in the United States, where they have increased by 7%. In the Central European, Middle Eastern, and African countries as a whole, they have grown by 11%.

The company, which turned 40 in 2024, considers the transformation process it began in 2019 "successfully" concluded, and is now preparing for a new phase of growth, focused on a younger, fashion-oriented consumer. According to the firm, it faces this 2025 "on a solid business foundation."

With the transformation undertaken in 2019, Desigual has renewed its brand to connect with a younger, fashion-trend-following client, with a more contemporary proposal. Five years after launching this strategy, the average age of its client has been reduced by almost ten years.

In parallel, the firm has restructured its commercial network. To do this, it has invested 98 million euros, while reducing its total commercial area by 28%, to resize its store network. Despite the closure of establishments, it has continued to bet on opening emblematic stores, such as the one inaugurated in November in Shanghai, a 230-square-meter flagship store inspired by modernism, a symbol of this opening of a new stage.
