The gastronomic event with Paseo de Gràcia, Passeig de Gourmets, is warming up and finalizing a complete culinary offer for its fourth edition, which will be held from Thursday, April 28 to Sunday, May 8. This year, a total of 18 restaurants will participate with their dishes and tasting menus. Blanc, Belbo Terrenal, The Bistrot, Solc, Sintonia, and Virens are some of them. Estrella Damm, DO Cava, and Royal Bliss will provide the drinks.

Chefs Carme Ruscalleda and Martín Berastegui, with six Michelin Stars on this city artery, will be the honorary ambassadors of this edition. "Gastronomy is a very important axis for Paseo de Gràcia, the promenade with the most Michelin stars in Spain," says Lluis Sans, president of the Associació del Passeig de Gràcia, promoter of this gastronomic event. Ahead of Barcelona are only Paris, and restaurateurs are already working to surpass it, defend Ruscalleda and Berastegui, accompanied by Rodrigo de la Calle, participant in Passeig de Gourmets, with Virens, at the Hotel Almanac.

For those who dare to do the tapas route, they can try up to 11 restaurants, with a price of seven euros per serving, with a drink included. You can taste eggplant baba ganoush with anchovy snack (H10 Casa Mimosa); roasted cannelloni, foie, Figueres onion béchamel and caramelized onions (Cafè Vienés at Hotel Casa Fuster); marinated mackerel, salicornia seaweed and citrus mango sauce (Banker's Bar at Mandarin Oriental); asparagus with sun-dried tomatoes and pistachios (The Bistrot at Santa Eulalia) or crispy sea bass tartare with cilantro mayonnaise (Restaurante Solomillo). 83.3 Terrace Bar, Belbo Terrenal, el Bar, from Majestic; Terraza Verbena, from Monument Hotel, and Somni, from The One complete the tapas offer.

Those who prefer a tasting menu will also have 11 establishments to choose from. With a price ranging from 50 to 65 euros, depending on the drink, this year's Passeig de Gourmets includes El Jardín, from Hotel Alma; Virens, Belbo Fasto, La Terraza, from Claris; Restaurante Solc, from Majestic; Blanc, from Mandarin Oriental; Mr Porter, Casa Seat, Restaurante Solomillo, Sintonia and Somni, from The One.

After last year's Passeig de Gourmets, in which more than 12,000 dishes were sold, the Associació del Passeig de Gràcia is preparing to celebrate the best edition. "The restaurants have conveyed their enthusiasm to us," Sans explains. "This spring is one of the most anticipated," Ruscalleda adds.
