Cafler closes a five-million-euro round to grow in Europe
The online delegated mobility platform for individuals and companies is running its own long-distance race on the European continent. In less than a year, it has positioned itself in Paris and London and will soon enter Milan and Berlin.
The company Cafler, since its creation in July 2021, has expanded its services for individuals and companies related to vehicles and now operates in 25 Spanish cities, including Barcelona and Madrid, as well as Paris and London, where it has begun its international expansion. Shortly, it will expand its presence in Europe with entry into Milan and Berlin. For this objective, thestartup founded by Ricard Guillem and Iñigo Diego, has closed an investment round of almost five million euros, led by the Seaya Ventures fund, whose main partner is Aristotelis Xenofontos. In addition, Cafler retains its previous investors: Banco Sabadell, Encomenda, Dídac Lee, René de Jong or Jacky Abitbol, partner of the international investment fund Cathay Innovation. The car-related services firm, which has fifty employees, began its activity witha first service consisting of passing the ITV (vehicle inspection) for users in Madrid and Barcelona, where its headquarters are located, but currentlyoffers other services. Among them, the pre-technical inspection control service and dealerships and workshops can benefit from vehicle transfer services, either with a driver or cranes, both for short, medium, and long distances. In addition, users ---who pay a single fee of 10 euros per service--- can request from Cafler's current fleet of over a hundred driversnew services such as washing, workshop service or refueling, among others. The purpose of the founders is to expand this range of services with the improvement of their application.
In Spain, Cafler provides all these services with a network of more than 2,000 service points, from where it moves vehicles efficiently and economically to carry out different procedures related to the car.
Ricard Guillem, a 17-year-old founder and executive president of Cafler, has assured that the company has "validated in a few months of life a business proposal that was disruptive as well as necessary" and that investors are giving their confidence to the company's growth strategy, which plans to "establish itself in Europe in a few months."
