The general director of the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, Blanca Sorigué, consolidates the entity's role as one of Barcelona's main engines of economic development after the CZFB closed 2025 with a profit of 40.5 million euros and a turnover of 77.7 million, 18.6% more than the previous year. These results reinforce the organization's capacity to reinvest in strategic projects linked to innovation, industry, and urban transformation.

At the helm of the Consorci's executive management, Sorigué promotes the deployment of the 2025-2029 Strategic Plan, with initiatives such as the expansion of DFactory Barcelona, which will grow from 17,000 to 60,000 square meters to consolidate itself as one of the main industry 4.0 ecosystems in Southern Europe. The entity also advances in projects such as the future Glòries Public Tower and new initiatives linked to the World Capital of Architecture.

With more than two decades linked to the Consorci, Sorigué has become one of the main drivers of Barcelona's international positioning in the fields of advanced industry, logistics, and innovation. The results approved this week reinforce a model that combines financial solidity with the reinvestment of resources in city projects and economic promotion.
