Piscina Barcelona 2025 will return to the Gran Vía venue from November 17 to 20 with its most ambitious edition of the last two decades. The show, organized by Fira de Barcelona with the support of the employers' association ASOFAP, increases its surface area by 22% to 45,000 m² and will bring together more than 400 exhibitors from 30 countries, confirming itself as the most international event on the European trade fair calendar for the sector.

With nearly 70% international offerings and an expected attendance of over 15,000 visitors—60% of them from outside Spain—Piscina Barcelona consolidates its position as a major business and innovation platform in the field of swimming pools, wellness, and, this year, also the outdoor sector, which is incorporated as a new thematic axis. According to Eloi Planes, president of the show's Organizing Committee and executive president of Fluidra, "Piscina Barcelona 2025 reflects the vitality of a sector that combines innovation, sustainability, and well-being, to transform the way we enjoy water."

A growing sector with international projection

The good momentum of the show reflects an expanding sector. According to ASOFAP's 2025 Pool Sector Barometer, the Spanish market grew by 5.2% in the first half of the year and is expected to exceed 1.6 billion euros in annual turnover.

Spain is already the second European country and the fourth worldwide in terms of the number of swimming pools, with more than 1.3 million installations and a park that could grow by 40,000 new units this year. The activity generates more than 70,000 jobs and brings together more than 2,000 companies linked to water treatment, construction, automation, and energy efficiency.

Current trends point to digitalization and automation, the renovation of existing pools, and water and energy sustainability as major priorities. Water consumption associated with swimming pools represents only 1% of the total supplied in Spain, a fact that reinforces its efficiency in a context of growing environmental awareness.

The show is a reflection of an expanding sector.

Technology, design, and well-being as central themes

Artificial intelligence, energy efficiency, and well-being mark the major trends of the 2025 edition, which will feature a Innovation Zone to present the most disruptive products. The proposals will include maintenance automation systems, digital water control, chemical reduction, and robots and accessories connected with AI.

The show will bring together leading brands such as Fluidra, Aiper, Hayward, PHNX, Productos PQ, Renolit, Aquavia Spa, Beatbot, Maytronics, Misouri, Wybot, Proteam Europe, and Superior Wellness, among many others.

One of the great novelties this year is the incorporation of the outdoor sector, which unites swimming pools with exterior design and landscaping. The fair will feature a complete offering that includes furniture, outdoor kitchens and barbecues, fireplaces, lighting systems, paving, sun protection, and landscaping and decoration solutions. Leading brands such as Ambiazza, Cerámicas Mayor, Leil Saunas, Conva, Weber, Domo by Indalsu, Spa&BBQ Concepts, Tarimatec, Exterpark, Rosa Gres, Catral Garden & Hombre Depot, and Cubiñá ---with represented firms such as Kettal, Houe, Expormim, Ligne Roset, Fast, Cane-Line, Bover, Pedrali, and Ethimo--- will present proposals that integrate functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability to transform outdoor spaces.

The show includes outdoor proposals.

It will also host two sessions of the XIII International Biennial of Landscape Architecture of Barcelona with international references and a conference by the Spanish Association of Landscapers (AEP) and Rain Bird on the intelligent use of water in green areas, with the prominent participation of landscaper Henri Baba.

This axis will also be visible in the Outdoor & Wellness Experience showroom, a 1,000 m² space designed by architect Rosa Maria Torra, which will recreate a wellness center in a Mediterranean garden with a swimming pool, spa, saunas, and fully equipped outdoor areas.

Knowledge, networking, and real sustainability

Piscina Barcelona 2025 will include more than 30 professional activities on sustainability, digitalization, social impact, and business opportunities. Highlights include the Pool Horizons Summit, the Digital Transformation and Social Impact Conferences, the VII Hospitality Design & Wellness Meeting, and the Job Market Place with Barcelona Activa, which will facilitate the hiring of talent for companies in the sector.

Several awards will also be presented, such as the Wellness Experience Awards, the Piscina Barcelona Awards, and the Outdoor Design Awards, as well as those from the International Competition for Architecture and Landscape Architecture Students inspired by Park Güell.

True to its values, the show will apply sustainability criteria in its organization, such as the reuse of water from the Bernat Picornell municipal swimming pools, in collaboration with the Barcelona Sports Institute, as part of the Towards Zero Impact initiative.

Spain, European hub for aquatic innovation

With sustained growth, an expanding market, and a clear commitment to sustainability and digitalization, Spain consolidates its position as a European benchmark in innovation, design, and technology applied to the world of swimming pools. Piscina Barcelona 2025 will be, more than ever, its best international showcase.
