Banco Sabadell has signed Ana Belen Aller Aparicio as the new Human Resources director, joining and strengthening the team led by Miquel Montes, the bank's general director of Organization and Resources, who oversees cross-cutting areas such as Human Resources, Legal Advisory, and Financial Management.

Aller previously worked at Grupo Planeta, where she was the corporate director of People Development, a position she held since 2018. Prior to that, the executive had worked at Mutua Universal and Celsa, a family-owned steel group with which she was associated for more than fourteen years, always in the field of people management. Her last position at Celsa was People & Organization Director.

"I feel privileged to have been part of this great family that will always have a reserved space in my heart," Aller published on her LinkedIn profile in a farewell message from Planeta, in which she expressed gratitude "for the generosity, excellence, and passion" of her team and the trust given by the top management composed of José Creuheras, Carlos Fernández, and Luís Elías. "It has been 3 years that have flown by, 3 years in which above all I have been happy," expressed the new senior executive of Banco Sabadell. Planeta plans to cover Aller's departure with an internal promotion. Enric Oliveras will assume the functions of director of the Selection, Development, and Compensation & Benefits team and talent management for the group.

Aller joins the bank in a key year marked by the incorporation of a new CEO, César González-Bueno, who has introduced changes in a large part of the organizational chart to adapt the entity to the new competitive context and the accelerated digitalization process.

Ana Ribalta, new Director of Sustainability

A few days ago, Banco Sabadell also appointed Ana Ribalta as Director of Sustainability, a newly created position that will allow her to be part of the bank's management committee. Until now, Ribalta was deputy general director of corporate banking. The executive is very aware in this area and is a founding partner of RRR'biocosmetics, a new brand of organic cosmetics created in Barcelona that uses returnable aluminum jars and is based on the principles of the circular economy.
