Sònia Fuertes Ledesma has been, since 2019, the Commissioner for Social Action of the Barcelona City Council. A social educator and a graduate in Philosophy and Educational Sciences from the University of Barcelona, she worked in the field of drug addiction, mental health, and penal execution, and was a lecturer at the UOC. She has been president of ECAS (2017-2019) and has been part of the boards of the Third Sector Table and EAPN Spain.
