With a degree in Economic and Business Sciences from the University of Barcelona, Terrades has also completed the IESE's Executive Development Program and has worked in companies such as Price Waterhouse and Agbar, where she has been Director of Planning and Management Control, Director of Strategic Planning and Treasury and Finance. She has been director of the Barcelona Science Park since 2018.
