Jordi Amat was born in Barcelona in 1978. He is a writer and holds a doctorate in Hispanic philology. Editor of several classics of Hispanic non-fiction and a specialist in Spanish intellectual history of the second half of the 20th century, he has published, among others,The Voices of Dialogue, The Labyrinths of Freedom, A Country in the Shadowsi, a Tusquets Editores, The long process ("A book of overwhelming erudition," according to Santos Juliá).
