Anna Ballbona is a writer and journalist. She has published the novel Joyce and the Hens (finalist for the Anagrama Books Prize 2016, also translated into Spanish), and two poetry collections: Rabbit in a cage (LaBreu Edicions, 2012) and The mother who scolded you was a robot (Galerada, 2008). It was selected for the anthology catalogEscritoras en catalán (Raig Verd, 2016). He writes for various media outlets, such as the newspaper Ara and the magazines L'Avenç, El Temps, Serra d'Or, and Caràcters. He collaborates with the programs Catalunya Vespre and Més 324.
