Sala Versus Glòries returns with Angle mort (Blind Spot), the comedy about job insecurity written by Roc Esquius and Sergi Belbel that was awarded Best Proximity Show at the Barcelona Theater Awards 2021. The cast is made up of Berta Bahr, Ramon Godino, Antonio del Valle, and Rafaela Rivas.
Under the direction of Lluís Elias, the authorial tandem proposes an ingenious dramaturgical game about the contrast between what is said and what is kept silent, unfolding simultaneously in two spaces: the office of the founder of a small start-up and the waiting room where his employees are located.
The story begins when the company owner is forced to summon three of his employees to inform them that he must recommend one for the crisis. What was supposed to be a simple procedure ends up leading to a series of surreal and uncontrolled situations, as what happens in the waiting room completely escapes the boss's control, as if it were happening in the blind spot of a car's rearview mirror about to have an unexpected collision.
