Aid for private companies when hiring people with disabilities or in situations or at risk of exclusion

The Govern Catalunya has open until next October 11 the call for aid for private companies that hire people with disabilities or in a situation or at risk of exclusion for this year 2018. The amount of the aid is 50% of the current SMI. The amount of the aid for a 12-month full-time contract during 2018 is set at 5,151 euros. In case the duration is shorter, the amount of the aid will be adjusted proportionally to the duration of the contract.

According to the bases of the call, beneficiaries of these aids are companies in the ordinary labor market (natural or legal person with the exception of temporary employment agencies) with an operational establishment in Catalonia.

The Departament de Treball, Afers Socials i Famílies of the Generalitat has opened this procedure to request aid for hiring people with disabilities, people in a situation or at risk of exclusion from insertion companies, or beneficiaries of the guaranteed citizenship income, for the year 2018 in the ordinary labor market. The objective of these aids is to promote and facilitate access to the labor market for particularly vulnerable people, under equal conditions, as an efficient mechanism to combat dependency, economic poverty, risks of social exclusion or marginalization.

The beneficiary workers of this hiring are people with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%, people in a situation or at risk of social exclusion previously hired by insertion companies, or beneficiaries of the guaranteed citizenship income (RGC).

Once the applications have been reviewed, documentation requirements will be sent, where appropriate, to the applicants by electronic notification. Applicants must send the requested documentation using the documentation submission form, in which the file number must be obligatorily stated. Once the deadline for submitting the required documentation has passed, the application is considered withdrawn.

On the other hand, applicants for these aids may submit the documentation they deem appropriate throughout the entire procedure (allegations, withdrawal, etc.) also using the documentation submission form, in which the file number must be obligatorily stated.
