Ludovico Einaudi at Palau Sant Jordi
Tuesday, June 16, the Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi will visit Barcelona. But, this time, he will move his usual intimacy of opera houses to a large stage such as the Palau Sant Jordi. The concert is part of the Einaudi vs Einaudi tour, a conceptual journey created expressly for large stadiums and pavilions. The objective is clear: to transform his celebrated minimalist piano into a much more electric, expansive, and absorbing experience.
On this occasion, Einaudi presents his most recent work, The Summer Portraits, a work that has featured the collaboration of his son, Leo Einaudi, in the creation of arrangements that incorporate layers of guitars, keyboards, and electronic elements. To defend this new style on stage, the musician will be accompanied by eleven performers, including regular collaborators Federico Mecozzi and Redi Hasa, in a concert that will also review his compositions for films such as Nomadland or The Father.
Sau at Port Vell in Barcelona
On June 18, 2026, the historic Catalan pop-rock band Sau presents its show Un concierto de película (A Movie Concert) within the framework of Blaumarí Music. This is a proposal closely linked to the band's current events due to the recent release of the biopic Els de Sau. This cinematographic project has once again focused on the group's trajectory and the memory of the late singer Carles Sabater.
With composer and guitarist Pep Sala leading the project, and with the voices of Fredrik Strand and Jonathan Argüelles, the concert is structured as an anthology of the pieces that marked Catalan rock in the nineties. On Saturday, June 27, Alejandro Sanz arrives in Catalonia as part of his world tour ¿Y Ahora Qué? It is a large-format production managed by Doctor Music that arrives at the Cornellà stadium after having passed through Mexico and Latin America. The concert marks the return of the Madrid musician to football stadiums, his natural habitat when it comes to deploying complex and technical scenographies.
The concert will offer a selection ranging from essential classics to his current compositions, marked by collaborations with new voices in urban and Latin music. Andrea Motis at the Palau de la Música Catalana
On June 28, the Barcelona Jazz Festival welcomes trumpeter and singer Andrea Motis. The artist returns to the Palau de la Música with To Amy, a tribute project to Amy Winehouse that already received a great reception at its official premiere at the festival and now returns in grand style. This project is a very personal tribute from the Catalan artist; for her, the British singer's songs were a great help and inspiration when she was training as a musician during her adolescence.
Motis reinterprets the legacy of the British singer in a jazz and soul key. She does so well accompanied by the power of Ramon Escalé's Barcelona Gospel Messengers. The union of the trumpeter's quartet with a large gospel choir will make these songs sound with renewed energy.
