DiR gyms expand internationally. Their yoga centers, YogaOne, land in Italy after signing a collaboration agreement with Angelo Desidera, a professional with more than 40 years of experience in the fitness sector, and owner and consultant of multiple sports centers such as the Club Lanciani in Rome.
"His experience in strategic planning and brand development will be key to introducing the YogaOne philosophy to the Italian market and creating spaces adapted to local needs where people can connect with their best version, physically and mentally," YogaOne has stated.
YogaOne centers already exceed 60 throughout Spain, with a presence in Catalonia, Madrid, Zaragoza, and Pamplona; and now they also land in Italy to reinforce their presence in Europe, where they will open several establishments. In them, the company will offer a wide range of yoga classes, from sessions for beginners or professionals, but also specific classes for children, pregnant women, or aerial yoga.
YogaOne was founded in 2009 in Barcelona by Jordi Canela and Silvia Canela, second generation at the helm of Clubs DiR, a gym company that their father founded in 1995 in the Catalan capital and that currently has a network of more than 100 establishments throughout the country.
