Pont takes responsibility for the management and strategic priorities of the company, while Raúl Díaz-Varela maintains his functions as president and CEO of Kern Pharma.
Pont's incorporation thus strengthens the management team with a profile especially linked to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. Throughout his career as a partner at Deloitte, where he led the Life Sciences & Healthcare area, he has participated in national and international projects related to strategy, management, and business development. This experience will now be transferred to the management of a company facing a context of sector transformation and that wants to continue developing its long-term project.
His appointment opens a new stage in which Kern Pharma is committed to combining continuity and management reinforcement. Pont will have to work with the Management Committee and the company's teams to prioritize key initiatives for the coming years and promote sustainable growth, while maintaining the culture and values of the Indukern family group.
