Words do not stop: they cross oceans, cross borders, and reach new voices that make them their own. This journey, coming in this case from Latin America, takes shape from June 16 to 22 in Barcelona with the fifth edition of the Latin American Literature Festival KM Amèrica, a space where stories are not only read, but also travel, are heard, are shared, and are lived. Organized by Casa Amèrica Catalunya and Biblioteques de Barcelona, with the curatorship of Mexican writer Eduardo Ruiz Sosa, the festival connects voices from Latin America and the Caribbean with Catalan literature through dialogues, readings, workshops, music, theater, literary routes, and other activities. This year, the program focuses on violence and war, and vindicates literature as a space of resistance.
