What heat!
The seagulls wake her from her nap; even the heat has made them peaceful. She had managed to fall asleep but the sun is hitting her and she hasn't put on sunscreen. She drinks what's left of a smoothie that has turned into a watery mess. She calms down when she realizes that the people from the tourist apartment across the street have quieted down. All the mental curses she threw at them have worked. But she looks towards her balcony and gets scared. In the inflatable pool where they used to drink beers, there's a huge dragon fanning itself while cleaning its snout. Did it eat them? She starts sweating guilt and decides to lock herself in the apartment, even though it has no air conditioning, just in case karma turns against her. But she can't move. She's stuck in the hammock. She's struggling when 'Despacito' starts playing very loudly. "But is it still in style?" she thinks just before waking up and seeing that the tourists are still where they were and that there's no dragon to help her.
