La Mercè. Today is the big day of the city's main festival. Tomorrow almost everyone ---luckily--- can already say that the 2024/2025 academic year officially begins. 100%. No excuses for holidays, long weekends, or multiple celebrations.
At The New Barcelona Post, we returned to the newsroom weeks ago. And this new season we start with many novelties. With the same ambition as always and with renewed energy.
Four years ago, we set out to become Barcelona's reference magazine. A meeting point for all those people who, no matter where they come from, believe that our city is one of the best places to live, work, invest, and enjoy the Mediterranean.
We are a meeting point and, at the same time, a loudspeaker for companies, people, associations, and institutions that are committed to building a positive Barcelona. Evidently, being aware of our reality ---which always has pending issues to resolve---, but with the ambition of knowing that (almost) nothing is impossible.
We do this daily through the magazine's content ---which for three years has been multiplatform with its integration into Must Media Group---, but also with in-person formats such as Moments Estel·lars, the meetings we have been organizing monthly at Casa Seat for two years; the business lunches True Leaders, which we regularly convene at EY's headquarters, or thematic series such as "All you want to know about the America's Cup," which we organized over four days at the old Damm Factory.
We are a city full of talent. Known and recognized worldwide. You just have to see how the city is buzzing. Initiatives of all kinds are constantly emerging that reinforce our self-esteem and project us internationally. And all this, beyond the major fairs, festivals, or events that are, and must continue to be, part of Barcelona's DNA.
Four years ago, we set out to be Barcelona's reference magazine. We do this daily through our content, but also with in-person formats. The New Barcelona Postis, and wants to continue being, an active agent in the construction of this ambitious Barcelona. That is why in this new coursewe incorporate new firms---like Mar Galtés, Pau Solanilla or Eva Arderius--- to those we already have;we started a closer collaboration with the illustrator community The Barcelonian which will be in book form;we begin a cycle of forumsjointly with other city agents, andwe reinforce the newsroom of The New Barcelona Postled by journalistCristina Martín Valbuena
We start the new academic year with novelties, but above all with enthusiasm. With the hope of seeing that more and more of us are configuring the community of The New Barcelona Post. Thank you for being here, for believing in this project and for helping to make Barcelona the best city in the world.
