Veeva Systems will establish its European technology hub in Barcelona's 22@ district with the opening of a new headquarters in the Interface building, where it will occupy more than 2,100 m². The space, scheduled for delivery in spring 2026, will allow the company to strengthen its growth in Europe and consolidate its commitment to training specialized talent in the life sciences sector.

The multinational, a world leader in cloud software for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, will locate its new center on the third floor of the building, on Tánger street. The project will also include a private terrace of more than 300 m² and has been conceived as a work environment oriented towards collaboration, productivity, and professional development. For its implementation in Barcelona, Veeva has relied on the advice of CBRE, in an operation carried out in a property owned by Castellví, one of the pioneering developers in the development of the 22@ district since its origins.

The new space is being designed as a high-productivity center that will go beyond the traditional office function. The headquarters will combine work areas with spaces dedicated to training, functioning as a specialized talent training hub in the field of life sciences.

This approach responds to a growing trend in technology companies, which are opting for hybrid environments where work, learning, and collaboration converge. In this sense, the office is conceived as a meeting point for international teams and as a strategic tool for attracting and retaining talent. Likewise, the project includes representative spaces intended for relationships with clients and strategic partners, from large pharmaceutical companies to biotechnology companies, reinforcing the company's international orientation.

The 22@ as a reference ecosystem

The choice of the 22@ district responds to its consolidation as one of Europe's main technological and business hubs. In recent years, the area has attracted a growing number of international companies, startups and innovation centers, generating a dynamic ecosystem that combines talent, connectivity and proximity to other key players in the sector.

The Interface building, where the new headquarters will be located, has been specifically designed to meet the needs of this type of company. Its open-plan and flexible floors facilitate collaboration between teams, while its terraces and outdoor spaces contribute to improving the work experience. Added to this is its LEED Gold sustainability certification, an increasingly relevant factor in the decision-making of companies that prioritize efficient and environmentally responsible environments. The opening of this hub in Barcelona is part of Veeva's growth strategy in Europe, in a context where the digitalization of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector continues to accelerate.

The new headquarters will improve coordination between international teams, facilitate project development, and respond to a growing demand for technological solutions in the life sciences industry. In this sense, the company joins other multinationals that have chosen Barcelona as their operational base in Europe, attracted by its ability to combine qualified talent, quality of life, and an expanding business ecosystem.
