August is synonymous with photography. Not only for all those images of trips to the other side of the world, paradisiacal beaches or small getaways that fill the networks during the holidays, but also because it is the month in which International Photography Day (August 19) is celebrated. In this very photographic month, the KBr center of the MAPFRE Foundation invites us to look at this art from two very different perspectives through the two exhibitions that coexist this summer.

On the one hand, Joaquín Tusquets de Cabirol. The Eloquent Form recovers the gaze of a photographer who portrayed post-war Catalonia through everyday scenes, landscapes and seemingly simple moments that today function as testimonies of an era. On the other hand, Minor White brings closer the work of one of the key figures of 20th century American photography, with images marked by a more symbolic and introspective gaze.
