Reclau was born in Sants at the hands of David, his sister Leila, and the architect Emilio Asensi. They carry out interior renovations in both homes and commercial premises and offices, especially in Sants, Les Corts, and L'Hospitalet, betting on a clear idea: "We want to open up spaces and make them new: it's not about rethinking a space with what the client had before, but about reinventing it, remaking it. At that moment of the project's start, theGremi de Reformes d'Interiors de Catalunya—with whom David maintains a close relationship— made him a proposal that, over time, has proven decisive. "The Guild, which always gives us great support to help us professionalize and train, to all those in the trade, proposed that I participate in Projecta't," she explains.
When career guidance arrives at the right time
Project yourself is a professional guidance program promoted by the Consorci per a la Formació Contínua de Catalunya, aimed exclusively at employed workers. It is not about training for the sake of training, but about accompanying each person so that they better understand their capacities, interests, and professional goals, and can project themselves with discernment in a changing labor market. For David, the timing was especially opportune. "Despite 30 years of experience, I had never worked in management in an associative way, and it seemed interesting to me to have tools to move well in this new formula for me," he acknowledges. Co-managing a company involved making different decisions, thinking in business terms, and anticipating scenarios. The year-long Projecta't process allowed her to stop, reflect, and organize her ideas. "It has allowed me to see the future in a different way," she summarizes. To update so as not to be left behind
David says it bluntly: "When you dedicate yourself to a job for many years, you think you already know everything. And you never end up updating yourself, and you don't realize that you are actually falling behind." Projecta't served precisely to break with that inertia.Based on the support received, he began to undertake both technical training and training related to management and personal skills. "I have done technical training and also training in management skills, dealing with clients... they have served as support in my day-to-day," he explains. Not as a theoretical addition, but as a practical tool to better face each decision.
Now, two years after finishing the program, David continues to train. "Now I will do another training to better understand the company's break-even point. It's about knowing how to say no to projects, for example. To analyze projects technically and with enthusiasm, but also economically."
