From her corner, she can observe everything that happens in the bar while she waits. She sees a father with his daughter having coffee after lunch. She also spots a specimen, commonly known as a "señoro," giving an unfounded lecture to a poor girl who doesn't know how to get out of there. She tries to send her strength from a distance. The door opens, but it's not him. The constant whistling of the coffee machine prevents her from hearing the octogenarian table next to her, but she is sure it's a first date. A young redhead enters, accompanied by a teenager who keeps combing her bangs and some huge balloons with the number 18. Treacherously, the waiter asks her if she wants anything else and she realizes she has been waiting too long.
