Teleworking and virtual meetings have become the new normal, making cloud services increasingly essential for the digitalization of companies. This is one of the reasons why the Swiss technology provider ALSO will arrive in Spain with the launch of Also Cloud Spain, a digital marketplace that will be available starting in January 2021 and will allow the group to expand its IT (Information Technology) cloud business line. It is also preparing its arrival in Barcelona with a new headquarters, which will be the only one it will have at the state level and its inauguration is expected for early next year.

The general director of ALSO Group Spain, Montserrat Peidró-Insa, explains that their objective is to facilitate the adoption of IT cloud services in the Spanish market, offering sector specialists a close partner and a global platform with which many distributors from other countries are already expanding their businesses with the as-a service (aaS) model. For his part, the CEO of ALSO Holding AG, Gustavo Möller-Hergt, has valued that they continue their international expansion thanks to having the portfolio, experience and financial capacity to improve their presence in Europe, with Spain being "a logical first step", given that they are already present in the country through collaboration with the streaming platform Ludium Lab.
ALSO is a leading IT technology provider in the European market, with annual revenues of around 11,000 million euros and a workforce of 4,000 employees.
