The rental manager Nester will offer real estate financial services

The startup will create an ecosystem of benefits that any real estate management professional or institutional owner needs beyond simple asset administration. To start: real-time control of all rent payments.

The Nester platform, a software that allows digitizing and automating the tasks involved in renting, wants to go a step further and will offer new financial services related to the rental market: rent financing, non-payment insurance, or added services for tenants.

In the coming months, it will have a tool to control all rent payments in real time, which will facilitate greater flexibility in the payment method for tenants and increase security when the professional or owner receives the rent.

According to its founders, Àlex Purull and Kàstor del Olmo, along with Ferran Castellví and Pere Solé, it is about taking a natural step in the growth they started just over a year ago. The increase in services will boost expansion in Spain, where they have already opened an office in Madrid, although they already have a foothold abroad, since some of their clients manage a portfolio of properties in different European countries and "for us it will be a logical step to provide them with service in those places where they operate," they assure.

In less than 8 months of existence, this Sabadell startup manages more than 1,500 rental homes on the platform, and has a portfolio of more than 150 clients, from small and medium-sized agencies to family offices or real estate investment funds, and 870 tenants.

Currently, Nester has 14 employees between its headquarters in Sabadell and its offices in Madrid and expects to end this year with an approximate workforce of 20 people.

To move forward, they will rely on the startup accelerator promoted by Amazon. Hand in hand with AWS Startup Loft Accelerator, the proptech, which is also on its way to becoming a fintech, will improve its capabilities thanks to the training it will receive from expert advisors, investors, and other successful entrepreneurs, with the aim of being prepared to make the international leap in the coming years. In addition, the startup was selected by Lanzadera, the accelerator created by Juan Roig, to be part of its program.

Asked about the efficiency of the platform and what distinguishes it from others existing in the market, its creators state that Nester users improve profitability in housing management by 23% and multiply management capacity by 3 without increasing costs, in addition to reducing the time spent on management tasks by 70% thanks to process automation.

For example, a Nester client should not generate all receipts, invoices, or settlements either monthly or quarterly, since the platform creates them automatically. This allows users to focus more on their clients or have a better relationship with tenants, and this translates into more and better services for them and a reduction in delinquency by providing greater flexibility in payment methods.

"Our job is to save real estate professionals time and money so they can dedicate it to tasks of greater added value for their clients," they defend because they have designed it as a tool that integrates in a single space and intuitively everything a professional or an individual needs to manage the property: contract creation, digital signature, automatic creation of receipts, invoices and settlements, payments, incidents, supply changes, etc.
