Social awareness on issues such as the environment and environmentalism has grown rapidly over the last few years. The number of people who value initiatives focused on having a positive impact on our society and planet is increasing. Perhaps this is the explanation for the success of GoParity, a Portuguese startup that allows investment in sustainable and ethical projects, related to sustainable energy, the blue economy, or the reduction of inequalities. Now this emerging company, founded by Nuno Brito in Lisbon in 2017, arrives in Barcelona to establish its operations center for Spain.
"Our goal is to promote the transition towards a more sustainable and inclusive economic system, with much more responsibility in terms of how we use and make money profitable," says Brito.
To start investing, you just have to register on the website and load your wallet with a minimum of five euros. "We make investment in sustainable projects accessible to everyone, from citizens to small and large companies," adds the founder of GoParity. The average annual return on investments managed by the startup is 5%, reaching up to 8%, and the average duration of projects seeking funding is four years.
Since its launch in Portugal, GoParity has attracted more than 11,000 investors, from 59 different countries, who have invested 5.3 million euros in about 80 sustainable projects. These investments have generated profits worth 1.1 million euros.
