Up to 22 stallholders gather in the new edition of the Christmas market at Fábrica Lehmann. This industrial complex located in the Eixample Esquerre will open its doors on December 17 and 18 to attract the interest of residents and visitors.

From the organization, Marina Montilla recalls that "the market started with four or five stalls and has grown to host external stallholders and receive up to 4,000 visitors."

The market's offering is divided into two differentiated groups. Those who have their production base in the Lehmann factory itself and who, in addition to being the organizers, take the opportunity to showcase their products and, above all, their work philosophy. A sustainable and creative proposal. Away from overproduction and providing entrepreneurs with the necessary space to experiment, create, and develop their projects and collaborations.

This is the case of Dinamo-Studios, graphic design, art, and traditional artisanal techniques. This project based in the Lehmann factory works with traditional manual techniques and defines its production system as "conscious, responsible, and time-consuming."

The eleven organizers wanted to share the space with eleven other invited creators, completely external to the venue, so that they could make themselves known and, at the same time, expand the range of products at the Christmas market. Illustrations, jewelry, decoration, ceramics, and even gastronomy are some of the offerings from these invited creators.

In this way, a breath of new trends arrives at the Lehmann factory, a space that is considered creative and inspiring. The most innovative proposals among the guests at this exhibition are Gotic Ferments and Madame Arnulfy. The first, a creator of natural ferments who has become popular for his kombucha and ginger drinks. Madame Arnulfy, on the other hand, delves into the craft of candles to offer products based on resins and soy wax.

Located on Consell de Cent street, Fábrica Lehmann is considered the "creative lung" of the Eixample Esquerre. The building was constructed in 1893 when Ernst Paul Lehmann, a toy creator, decided to open a factory in Barcelona. Far from what it was at that time, the building is now a meeting point for artisanal, creative, and artistic work. Graphic designers, painters, interior designers… All find inspiration in Fábrica Lehmann.

The Christmas market is an opportunity to showcase both the factory's premises and the building itself. The stalls are located in the courtyard, a space accessed through a harlequin alley and featuring a 25-meter-high chimney. Admission is free and hours are from 11 AM to 8 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.
