The IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC) exhibition, which until now has focused on technology linked to the Internet of Things, will also address this year other types of transformative solutions that combine various innovative technologies for companies and businesses in any sector. The event, which will be held between October 5 and 7 at Fira de Barcelona, will address the main challenges faced by companies when innovating through five thematic axes: security, connectivity, business optimization, intelligence, and customer experience.
The congress will feature an in-person exhibition aimed at senior executives from different fields such as strategic management, operations, and technologies, and also digital content for a wider audience. Several companies such as Siemens, Deloitte, Kaspersky, and Orange have already confirmed their participation.
The director of IOTSWC, Roger Bou, has assured that "this new approach will provide companies with a unique opportunity for those responsible for corporate strategy, as well as operations and technology, to discover disruptive solutions that give a competitive advantage to their businesses through a comprehensive approach that puts the end-user at the center of everything, offering results and ideas, but also experiences from other sectors and professionals who have successfully implemented these solutions."
The objective of this congress is to bring together the main actors involved in the digital transformation of companies, and to promote a space for dialogue with the end-user as the main focus. To this end, the IOTSWC will focus on innovative companies and technologies called game changers. "This year we are focusing on the IoT game changers, experts who have experienced before anyone else and will share their experiences to achieve the best IOTSWC to date," said the executive director of the Industrial Internet Consortium, Richard Soley.
